What kind of knives?

The first one looks like a gardening trowel.

The second one I can't identify specifically other than to say it's missing the handle.

I am aware that one knife is missing the handle...and it is interesting to see how you got gardening trowel out of the other one...

Any one else have any suggestions? Or maybe another forum that is specific to this. I am interested in finding out. I own A LOT of knives and these are not a bit like anything I have.

Sure. Re-post your question over in the Bernard Levine Knife Identification sub forum. It's critical to post your pictures in your topic, so use the "IMG code" tags found at the photobucket website.

Good luck!

That first implement looks like a gardener's "dibble," a tool used to poke holes in the soil for planting seeds or small starts. The second one looks like a kris dagger, sans handle of course.

My first thought when I saw the first one was actually push dagger, but I think that's because I was assuming it's a knife.

The first one is a gardening tool of sorts.
The second one is a Kris Dagger or a throwing knife of sorts?
This is all just from looks.

Do the blades have any markings or anything? Dates?

The first one at first glance I thought might be a bricklayers pointing trowel of some sort. I think I like the gardening idea better -maybe for transplanting seedlings -push & twist.

This shows that there is a raised edge in the middle just like a Knife.

This shows the thickness of the knife. It is sharpened on both sides. I thought maybe it was a spear of some sorts at one time.

These are the only markings that I can find on the blade anywhere. Next to the zig zag there is a scribed O of sorts. The length of the blade is 8 1/4" and the width is 2 1/2".

Does this help anyone? I will also make a post on the forum suggested thank you!

No. Don't repost.

Next time, just click the little "!" icon in the lower left and ask Moderators to move your existing post to the proper sub-forum. Keeps things tidy and all comments in one single post.
