what kind of kukri is this?

Looking at picking a cold steel kukri up, found one for a decent deal. So what model is this?

I don't recall a black powder coated model with the Bando Association logo on the blade.
I'd have to check the archives.

OK, that looks like an old Gurkha Light Kukri
circa 1999-2000
I believe they were Carbon V steel with a baked on anti-rust coating
There were two models available at the time, a 9.5" blade and a 12" blade

SK-5 Gurkha Kukri had a black coated blade when they changed over from Carbon V and were produced in China. One of the excellent "China Dolls" .. great performance.
