Well I have a good sized pile of Andy's knives floating around the shop or in transit to and I have been in a serious designing mood lately with new stuff laying everywhere.

Time for some creative input, what would you like to see for your FB? Post up some doodles or be descriptive and one or two people might wind up with a little something extra in their stocking this year.

I'm wild about your snakeskin sheath you've got out there on ebay right now. If you made one like that for a hiking buddy I'd grab it today.

I'd like to see you make a crossdraw with a similar treatment for one of Andy's models. Some nice inlay with some stamping:

Maybe combine that with one of your small pouch systems on the face of it..:

carrying it on your weak side with a forward draw. Keeps everything tight and high for good hiking. some tinder or a compass could sit in the pouch...

Sounds good to me

Skystorm- I have lots of ideas.

- A lot of us use our FBs in the kitchen. Especially for guys like myself that only get to the woods a few times a year. With kids in the house, I don't want loose knives laying around in drawers, but I don't want my big bulky sheath in the kitchen to get stained and wet. Perhaps a very simple thin leather blade cover (sorta pancake style), offered in many sizes. Should be cheap to make and VERY handy for all of us.

-I don't have an F2, but I do a lot of fishing and have been thinking about getting one. If you do any kydex, it would suit that blade well since it's used mainly around wet environments.

-If you have access to buffalo hide...it would pair very well with the Nessmuk and skinners. Maybe even dual carry as cross draw as well.

-I use my kephart for hiking, but sometimes with the dangle, the sheath is too big for hanging on my waist. Perhaps options for a sheath for lash points for attaching to the exterior of a pack?

-we need a boot sheath option for the bush boot! That knife is screaming to be carried inside my cowboy boots!

Hope those help!

That snakeskin one is a prototype, Still can't decide if I like it or not. To make one for the Hiking Buddy would be no problem I would need to take out some of the curve on the spine or make it slightly larger to accommodate the straighter spine of the HB.
I have some new crossdraw designs coming out shortly that will be much more compatible with inlays, They are at the top of my list to do. Not sure about adding a pouch, I would have to think on that and do some testing.

I actually know slightly less than nothing about pipes and tobacco. :D But if you can show me pics I can build it.

How about a Hiking Buddy sheath with a pipe tobacco pouch, it's genious!

This is a great idea, I will definitely give it some though.

I will be doing kydex sheaths in the future but I am not sure I will be offering much for Andy's knives in that lineup.

Lash points like molle straps or grommets?

Have something in the works
