What kind of multi tools do you carry on your keychain?

I used to carry a one of those small Victorinox SAK, but I have replaced it with a blue Leatherman Squirt S4.

No knives on my keychain, just a LED light. I have a SAK Manager in my watch pocket.

A black Victorinox Classic.
I use the scissors, and tweezers frequently, while the file and blade are only used occasionally for "fingernail maintenance".
Had a Micra on there, but it made too much of a lump, and made getting my keys out a pain, sometimes.
Two of my buddies carry Micras on their keychains, though, so maybe it's just me...

I've carried an LM Micra for years. I like the variety of tools that it is able to provide in a small package.

I switched from a LM Micra to a Vic Rambler, which is the same as a classic sd with the addition of the small magnetic phillips and bottle opener combo tool. I like the Rambler's smaller size and lighter weight compared to the Micra.

I usually don't carry one on my keys, but when I do it's either a V-nox Classic, LM Micra, P-4 Squirt, or Swiss Tech.

Leatherman Squirt P4. I also have the S4 but have found more uses for the pliers than the scissors. I'm thinking about re-profiling the edge of the knife blade from chisel to two-sided blade.

I also EDC the Princeton Tec Pulsar II flashlight on my keychain. It's bailed many friends out of situations at the movies and camping. :D

My Manager (original, not Manager II) has the same tools as the Rambler + a sheepsfoot (very useful) and a "scraper" blade. If you can find one, it's only a tiny bit thicker than the Rambler. Of course, its been discontinued for quite a while, so I don't think you can find it on the web. SAK retailers usually have old stock lying around, though.

Very funny you say that! My local dealer has an old Manager still in his display case. He said that he would sell me the display if I wanted it, there were no new ones left. I ended up leaving with the Rambler because that is what I went for but I might have to go back for the discontinued Manager...

i carry a little sebertool, but the model escapes me. it has knife blade, flat screwdriver and phillips. the phillips is skinnier than on a mini-sak with the driver/opener combo, so it fits well into tight places. it is especially handy for "daddy, will you change the batteries in my (insert battery devouring device/toy here)."

Must be a Sebertool M3. That's the only one of theirs with a blade.

The only multitool I actually carry on my keychain is a Swiss-Tech Utili-Key. I have larger tools on me just about all the time, but that one is small enough that I don't mind just having it along for the ride. :)

That's a new one since I last looked at them. It looks remarkably like half of an M3. :)

Thanks for the update.

This thread has me carrying my Classic again. I just might have to pick up a Manager II so I can have a phillips and bottle opener along for the ride.

I carry Victorinox Classic, but recently I found a few disadvantages of this knife while I was on a closed island in the Gulf for 3 weeks. Prior to departure, I was told that all knives could be confiscated on the flight to the island for security reasons. So, I took only Classic because if it was confiscated, I would buy another one.
It was interesting to live with only one small knife because it was quite a test. I found the blade was too small and thin that I avoided using it, even for sharpening pencils. Scissors were good, as well as bottle opener, tweezers and screw drivers. But I got crack on handle near toothpick hole and lost the toothpick. In general, the knife, in my opinion, is for very small jobs, not for serious use.
Next time, if I go to the island again, I will bring Victorinox Picnicker!

SAK Midnight Minichamp. A bevy of tools close at hand for little jobs and 'fingernail maintenance.' The retractable writing pen has come in handy for those quick notes. My only complaint is that the light is rather weak to me. Still usable, but only for close up viewing............that's why I carry the Photon II with the minichamp.
