What Kind of Multibladed Spydies Would You Like?

I was playing with my Dyad and Buck Crosslock the other night and it occurred to me that I would like to see a few of other double bladed Spydercos.

First, a Cricket designed like the Buck Crosslock. Shouldn't be too heavy and the shape would still be great.

Second, I'd like to see Spyderco's version of a traditional stockman. I bet Sal could put a great twist on it.

Then, maybe a double bladed Jester.

Finally, a Spyderco SAK like the Tinker.

What would you guys like?

Cost & production limitations are going to limit my wishful thinking. As I mentioned once before, I would settle for a Dyad with a regular blade and a saw blade.

If I could have a multi bladed spydie,I would first have a small thin 1/32 thick 2" wharncliff line marking blade for precision and construction oriented tasks as well as whittling and such.Next there would need to be a bigger task blade fully serrated 3" with a flat chisel ground tip for scraping if this knife locks, and the main blade of course a 3.5" style plain edge calypso style, only not nearly as tall a blade to maintain a thinner more compact profile.Sv30 steel, with a blue or brown handle, gold spyder where most companies put a shield, and a clip. What more could you ask for...

whosyour,

Man, we are on the same wavelength tonight! I was thinking same thing.

An old fashion pattern, with the Spyderco twist. Real bone, Ti bolsters on both ends, definitely a hole in the Wharncliff main blade, and Turkish clip. Dual nested Compression Locks. Add an eligant fileworked minimalist pocket clip and Voila!

I would buy it in a heartbeat.

I would like to see a Dyad Jr. with the regular plain edge blade and a finger nail file blade instead of a serrated blade. That would make a heck of gents knife IMHO! What do you think Sal?

I'd like a Spyderco "Waiter's" Corkscrew, with a one-hand opening blade (slipjoint).

Double matriarch indeed.

Or how about a Gunting/matriarch for when the "merde really hits the ventilator" (or maybe you are only allowed to use such a line when referring to BMs or Emersons, lol).

I'm still sticking to my great idea. Hear me out:

This knife will have a blade on each end, but they face in the opposite direction. It would also be swiss cheese style, so you can set it to be left/right, and tip up/ tip down. This way, you can use your prefered open (up or down) for your preffered blade (PE or SE), and use the opposite opening technique for the other blade. This should allow either blade to be opened very quickly

I would really like to see a Spyderco SAK. It would be very interesting to see what Sal and the R&D folks could come up with after seeing the Spyderwrench.
