Does anyone have a source to by the clip and perhaps the hardware to make this happen?

Me to, i used to put nite ize stick on clips on the alox models but they weren't as tight as I might like and tended to fall into the sofa, car floor, etc

You'll probably have to go with a stick on style clip, Niteize makes a couple. In order to drill and tap the scales for a screw on clip you would have to disassemble the knife, which is a rather labor intensive project since it's pinned.

Ya I havent had much luck adding clips without taking the SAK apart. Tapping blind holes is a real big pain, but I know people are able to do it.

I use little ones from knifekits, they come in stainless and black. If you can tap a blind hole in aluminum you might be able to get one on without taking it apart. Its a #51 drill bit for the pilot hole and a 2-56 thread.

I'm a big fan of the nite-ize eclipse. I've had them on several SAKs for a long time. The metal eclipse has been discontinued but can still be found. They just released a new composite version that's also good. I prefer the metal clips. Another option is a suspension clip. The Munroe dangler($30+) and Tec P7 suspension clip($13) are great options. I have the P7 and love it.
