Hi guys: what kind of satin jack is this, and what is the proper abbreviation?

looks most like a sj tac li, but it's handle is different and the steel is slightly under 1/4 inch. got it at blade, 2009.

By your description it might be a CG on an LE blank. I believe that it could technically be called a SJTAC variant due to the thickness being more than a standard CG but with CG type handles, and it having a satin finish like an LE instead of a coating like the CG's. Is the blade convexed?

what is a CG? What does LE mean? I dont believe the blade is convex - seems to be ground into a straight V shape Thanks for the help!

That's a black market counterfeit blade. You will mail it to me for proper disposal immediately. Thanks.:D

There have been many SJTAK variants similar to yours. I have one that is almost identical except for a pumpkin mag handle. Same blade. Not an LE, Not a CG. I got mine at Blade West. They seem to show up at Blade, Blade West, Knob Creek, etc. LE's were .25 (?), CG .187 (?). Mine is 0.22, same as my SFNO Satin Variant from the same show.

Here's two older straight handled SJ's (Not Tac)

Here are some of mine. My two favorites are the orange/black handled custom and the Top one which is a black/OD G10, it is a bit wider than the rest, making it feel really good in the hand.

Is the plunge line on that ETS further back toward the scales?
