OK. So I'm trying to ship this Chinook II to a forumite in Canada, and he wants me to really crank down on the pivot pin so it doesn't get impounded by Customs (don't ask me - it's a Canadian thing). No problem. But when I look at the knife, it has these really weird fasteners. There are 4 on each side. The 2 nearest the butt appear to be small Torx. However, the 2 on the pivot end, including the pivot, are these bizarre star-shaped fasteners, and they are different on either side of the knife.
Before I bung up these screws, could someone take a look at their Chinook II and clue me in. What type and size am I dealing with? Do I need to tighten both sides of the pivot? Help!
Thanks!
