I have decided to get the natural outlaw and know i'm woundering what kind of sheath to get? any input would be great.

Ajester,
I would stick with the factory Kydex lined Cordura sheath for the time being. Wait until you get a chance to try that out and see how you like it and if it is going to meet your needs.

If not then there are plenty of good sheath makers that regularly post on these forums and I'm sure they can set you up ;)

Let us know how you like the NO when you get it.

BTW, which one is next? ;):)

Well...
There are many sheaths available for the Busses. Personally, I don't like the cordura sheath much. You might, in which case you need look no further. My main complaint with it really is the belt loop, which isn't that versatile, and I'm not a big cordura fan as a sheath facing material anyway. A few people make excellentkydex or concealex sheaths. Mine is from Normark and it's great. I also have leather sheaths [I sometimes have more than one sheath for different uses. Generally 1 kydex, 1 leather. For example, I might lash one to my kayak or canoe and use the other for carry. It can be easier to have two sheaths rather than lash and unlash so often] My leather is from Ken Rowe, who makes several different styles.
But try the standard kydex lined cordura sheath first. You may really like it.

I have been thinking and i'm still not sure what I want wether it will be the NO or the SH since I will only be able to have one for some time:( oh well some day I will make up my mind

I thought you decided!
OK. Since you didn't, let me put in my two cents.
Steelheart.
I'll tell you why.
The Busses have lots of great qualities but in my view those qualities are best seen in the larger knives. That's where infi's toughness, the asymetrical edge, the chopping ability, the edge retention, the solid feel etc really stand out. The NO is a great knife, but the SH I think is just that much more outstanding as a bigger knife. And there's not that much you could do with an NO that you can't do with a SH II.
The steelheart is a big knife - an outdoor knife. If you will be chopping, trimming branches, clearing brush etc, that's the one.
But the NO is also fantastic.
Whichever you pick, you will make the right decision.

If you ever do make up your mind on which blade you had better order at least two kydex sheaths from Eric at on scene.Great guy to deal with and you wont have to send your knife in for a fittin. Two sheaths allow you place your knife in two different places without unlashin as the other guys have suggested.I dont know why Eric and Jerry dont pair up and put their products together, everyone I know or hear of order a Normark sheath for their Busse. We all obviously dont mind to pay an extra $40 or so xtra so why not put em together?

I've got another Badger on the way from a trade, and it will have my first sheath from Dave Brown. Looking forward to it after all I've been hearing about his sheaths.

I don't see any reason to buy another sheath unless it's from David Brown... I have yet to find a sheath I like better than the one's I have bought off of him. I have all the Busse's(3) that I own sheathed by him, as well as a Brend, and I'm thinking a few more blades will be riding in his kydex before I'm finished buying users. He's got pretty much all of the sheath's on hand, and they are my preferred style. I have tried sheaths from other kydex makers, and they just don't stack up, David makes the best sheath out there for MY money. I suggest you get a couple styles though and find what works for you.

HJK,
He posted some pics of his sheaths on the Picture Archive thread, 3rd or 4th page. I have one of his mini-tekloks and it is very nice work.

We are lucky (or unlucky depending on how you look at it) we have too many choices for great aftermarket sheaths. ;):D:D:D

Dave Brown's work is exceptional. But, there is one minor caveat, regarding his trim friction-fit designs. Since even the 'production' Busses have minor variations in size and since friction fit retention is based on.... well... friction, a good tight fit is required. So a little user applied hot air may be required for a fit for secure field work for an individual knife. Your rough usage may vary.

The Up-side from this type of Kydex sheath fit is no loose 'rattle', once the blade and sheath become intimate.
