I don't know about you, but I hold principles higher than money. I don't want to do business with someone who wants to turn around and spit in my face.
So, I don't. Since we're not going to do business together, I'm not going to keep their money either.
And since they've chosen their own path, I have no need to encourage this path by supporting them being here. No more, no less.
This is the Strider Knives Forum. Not the TAD forum. The two are not the same entity. My suggestion would be to discuss Strider Knives

Okay look...
This is getting a little sickening.
Everyone pull yourselves together. Your like a bunch of damn kids. Only with body hair.
This is an unfortunate occurrence to say the least.
We love having 000 here because they are a great group of people who promote the "gear" industry wonderfully.
It's easy for us to all get pissed at Kevin because he is the voice of authority here. But remember, this is a job for him. This site supports thousands of members. Think of the exchange of money that this forum generates. And it's free.
Both Kevin and the TAD guys have sore butts from these dealings and it's really none of our business.
Do I hope that they work it out? Of course I do.
Maybe companies that use the forums should consider adding them into their advertising budgets. I never really even think about it. ( How the people in charge of this thing make money). I would be willing to do it. I think the forums are great. I would hate to see them go away.
Do I think that Kevin is over reacting to this? Of course I do.
The People at TAD certainly had no idea that Kevin's family had suffered in the Holocaust of WWII. How could they? Insults on the forums are generally good natured. I don't think that it is out of line to use an image of nazism as a metaphor for tyrannical behavior. I'm not saying that Kevin acts as a tyrant. I'm saying that his image may appear so at times. Know when someone crosses the line. Certainly everyone has different lines. For instance, "you're acting like a nazi" isn't the nicest thing to say. But, more than likely, is a bit out of context. That's let it slide-able.
"You're a child molester". Now see, that's the kind of thing that can't really be taken out of context.
My point?
Kevin had an invisible (though understandable) line drawn. TAD crossed it.
We will all suffer for it.
Hopefully we will work out a system that benefits both the host and those of us who visit.
Until then:
Everyone stop your damn sniveling.
Hopefully Kevin and TAD will work things out and keep their friendly rivalry friendly.
