What kind of spring in the Sifu?

The SIFU is not an auto. Are you referring to the spring in the Rolling Lock part?

Its a small diameter "compression" underneath and behind the unlocking latch. Its probably more reliable than the older "leaf" but its not directly connected to the rolling portion like the leaf was. Instead it provides compression through "linkage" via the latch and a pawl connected to the rolling pin.

Oh, I know it's not an auto Mike, I have one. Good to know they got rid of the leaf spring. Thanks for the replys.
