The funny thing about most good sunglasses is they're all owned by one company (luxxotica)... Oakley, Versace, Ray Ban, Revo, Persol, and tons more.
I'm currently rocking American Optics aviators. Glass, great polarized. People I tell to try them on say "Wow, it's HD!" compared to their cheap polycarb POS. You have to have a face that works for them, though. I'm going to get some polycarb activewear next, it's a toss-up between Maui Jims or Specialized. May be switching (hopefully) to a bike shop from my current job, and get deep discounts... though there are some sunglasses called rudy's, which I'm willing to check out.
Anyway, I strongly believe in one activewear polycarb, and one everyday glass pair.

Nice shades- I find a lot of those. The problem I have with Maui Jims is the fronts are scratch resistant but the backs aren't. So you have to be careful. I've found a dozen or more pair with perfect fronts and trashed backs.Maui Jims
