I'm wondering what type of table the leatherworkers here use, ideally I'm looking for something ready made.

I'd like to cut down on the sound of hammering. I already have a sizable piece of granite but I feel like having a table that's more solid could improve the buffering of the hammer blows.

Reason I ask is because it's hot as hell in my small shop and I'd like to have a dedicated leatherworking room indoors... just don't want to piss off old lady with my hammering ;)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I use alot of punches and I still hand stitch so there is quite a lot of hammering and noise. Thanks!
