Hi, I work for Victorinox and I know my knives. But today a customer came in with for me an unknown Victorinox. It has a strange Philips screwdriver and what I think a logo from Dodge? on the scale.
The awl looked a bit thin and there were no markings like Officer Suise on the back side of the blade.
Do you guys what kind of Victorinox this is?

Here are some pictures:

My sister used to work at a Dodge/Mazda dealership around here that had the Chrysler logo like that on some key chain sized SAK's. It came in a pack with the mini mag light, lenses, etc. and were given away as swag to employees and some customers Probably 15 years ago. I'll look around to see if I still have mine.

my guess is its a Chrysler marketing version of the tinker. Weird screwdriver though. cool bit of history there.

It has the tool set of a Tinker, and the phillips looks like an older flavor. That's my best guess. You work for Victorinox? You are supposed to be telling us what it is. :)

Definitely a tinker. I would guess it is 84mm. Small tinker. No key ring, tweezers or toothpick. The screwdriver is also a can key.

Thanks, thats what I wanted to know. The small gap in the screwdriver is a can key. Sounds logic to me. I really should know this, but yeah everybody has to learn ;)

A company the size of Chrysler, I wouldn't be surprised if they were done as a custom/semi-custom. The weird part is I would have thought there would be enough of them around that there would be an entry on sakwiki.

Well the small knife has a clipped point which means its at least from the early 1970s or before. They stopped doing that in the mid 70s when they changed it to the spear points. That is also the style of screwdriver of the times as well. But its definitely a tinker, depending on the size it could be a tinker small too.

My guess is it was a gift to Chrysler employees or even party favors from the company in the early 1970s or late 1960s.
