I still occasionally carry a Buck 110 on my belt just because you should.

It's one of the knives every collector should own. Created for hunters but immediately adopted by the trades. In the early 80's we all carried one - carpenters, plumbers, HVAC, everybody, even electricians. Single-handedly popularized the folding lock. Probably wouldn't be reading this without it. (American made and Happy 4th of July)

Along those lines . . .

Boker Camp Knife. Same model has been in production for 150 years.

Linder Kentucky Bowie. 2006 International knife of the year award winner. Outdoor.
Every collection should have a Bowie.

Microtech Ultratech. Dagger. The ultrament in otfs.

CRKT Provoke. Never thought I'd own a karambit. Hang me though if this ain't a must.

Not really looking for ideas on modern folding edc's, too dang ol' mumble, mumble, subjective. Can't sling a cat without hitting one of those suggestions.

But, I'm sure there's some others, some obvious ones no doubt, missing from this list.

YES most definitely.

That's when I got mine ~'82
I still have it.

I know it sounds wimpy after your suggestions but I would add :
A decent kitchen paring knife . . . say a
J.A. HENCKELS INTERNATIONAL 31160-101 CLASSIC (~4 inch) or a decent Japanese paring knife with White Paper steel.

It can be enlightening performance wise. Actually that is what I EDC'd for many years after the 110. I made a sheath for the Henckels. I still have that to and my
pardoner known here as The Chef uses it everyday in the kitchen.

Go to this LINK > > > and then third photo down to see the knife I mean and the folder with a similar blade that I now EDC in place of it.

This knife at this LINK> > > is similar though obviously more robust.

because this is 4th of July I'll recommend only American made knives.

I think everyone who loves the 110 should also get a 110Lt

And a little 55 pairs very well with the 110

You also gotta have a Case sodbuster in the size of your choosing.
