I still occasionally carry a Buck 110 on my belt just because you should.
It's one of the knives every collector should own. Created for hunters but immediately adopted by the trades. In the early 80's we all carried one - carpenters, plumbers, HVAC, everybody, even electricians. Single-handedly popularized the folding lock. Probably wouldn't be reading this without it. (American made and Happy 4th of July)
Along those lines . . .
Boker Camp Knife. Same model has been in production for 150 years.
Linder Kentucky Bowie. 2006 International knife of the year award winner. Outdoor.
Every collection should have a Bowie.
Microtech Ultratech. Dagger. The ultrament in otfs.
CRKT Provoke. Never thought I'd own a karambit. Hang me though if this ain't a must.
Not really looking for ideas on modern folding edc's, too dang ol' mumble, mumble, subjective. Can't sling a cat without hitting one of those suggestions.
But, I'm sure there's some others, some obvious ones no doubt, missing from this list.
