What kinds of animals do you have, and what is their name/order of dominance?

Snowy: Cockatiel, #1 because he is Mom's Favorite
Sadie: Mutt - used to be at the bottom, but has realized she is 6x bigger than the cats
Mr. Kirk: Cat
Mr. Cuddles: Cat
Snowy: Cockatiel, last when mom isn't around because he is, after all, just a little bird.

Briza is a lynx point siamese. That's not at all a recent picture, but you get the idea.

She and I are the only living things in the house, and she's by far the dominant resident.

Edit: And yes, she's in a trashcan. She decided that the small trash can was hers. If I threw anything away in it, she'd knock it over and reclaim the trashcan as her own. She's kinda grown out of that, but that trashcan is still sitting empty in a corner of the kitchen just in case she wants to play in it.

Just one dog and she knows that she's at the bottom of the pecking order. She also knows that I am "alpha dog" and pays much closer attention to me than the other members of the family (as opposed to the terrier we used to have, who had a "I don't give a s*&t attitude towards anybody and anything. :p)

I have a black domestic shorthair cat named Alex. we just call him cat though. he was a rescue who adopted us when we lived in Chicago.

in our house the order of dominance is as follows:

cat
girlfriend
me

:D

Kona is our 6 year old English Pointer.
Jasper is our 15 year old pure while cat.

I guess I have to put them even, since the cat has so much seniority, but the dog gets more attention.

Outside:

Cricket - female, alpha, black lab/akita
Blackie - male, beta, black lab/pitbull

Inside:

SWMBO - 'nuff said
Fluffy - SWMBO's long-haired fat cat. He grows on you after a bit but SHMBO gives him preference to almost everything so he thinks he's the alpha
Pookie - newish kitten, just got fixed. Slowed her down a bit but her job is to pester Fluffy until he can't stand it anymore. Then she comes over to me to suck my t-shirt and nap.

Two dogs: Koga (boxer, 2 years in april/11), as dumb as they come and Toto, a mixed breed 4 y.o., a lot smarter than Koga, even if it's about 1/4 the size. They pretend they obey me (when I'm lookng).

Iv got a little Bichon Shitzu (or how ever you spell it i useually say faggy little dog) mix named Buddy hes 11 and al he does is sleep

ButtonHead. A yearling buck who has figured it out - I'm the guy with the food!

I give him a little snack of sunflower seeds when I feed the birds.

1. Cyn (SWMBO).

2. Penelope (Maine Coonish cat). Penelope prefers my company to Cyn's, and hisses at her if she's in my lap and Cyn gets near me.

3. Me.

4. Moxie (Yeller Lab). She weighs 90lbs and could probably work her way up to #2 or 3 if she wasn't so goofy.

We also have a ball python (Jake) and a corn snake (Ezra) who exist outside the pecking order. I give them food, water, and shelter, and in return they give me unconditional indifference.

We have a border collie and she thinks she's the boss. Followed by my wife, then me. Two kids in the middle and the doberman is at the bottom of the food chain but she'll take any kind of attention she can get. We had 6 chickens but I think the raccoons wanted them more.

I'm a dog trainer,,so the list varies from day to day. My personal all around companion is a Dutch Shepherd named Kimba, she is the family personal protection dog, my demo dog for work, trail partner, class clown,,sometimes she is even a pillow.

My roommates and I decided that pets were verboten in the apartment, so I went with back home.

1.The folks
2. Snickers and Juliet-mom's chihuahua mutt-things
3.Dylan, my youngest brother
4.Maximus-crotchety old GSD
5.Leonidas-his younger brother

My pug Bolonia is queen of my apartment. I’m out of town 5 days a week, my mother and girlfriend take care of her more that they do me. She goes to the vet, more than I go to the doctor’s office so I think she’s in charge.

Cats, dogs and a horse. The dogs are mine, especially when they're bad, the horse and cats belong to other family members. Dogs are inside and outside, cats outside, I hope the horse never comes inside ;), he got loose out of his barn and tried during a blizzard last year. Opened the front door to clean the porch of snow, and there he was, "Lemme in!".

From in charge to along for the ride:

Onyx, a 10 year old cranky black cat. One of the worst attitudes you've ever seen, will face off against the dogs or cats in the household, and win. The only cat I like, although everybody will get food and shelter. He scares the dogs, the other cats and the horse.

Beau, a yellow/chocolate Labrador retriever. He's a little over 10 years old. He might be slower, but he is the boss of the dogs. He doesn't mind chastising me if I don't bring him inside when he wants to come in. He is a prankster, and, while he is a good dog, basically does whatever suits him. He is still a puppy at heart though. Lately, it seems like he's getting dementia, like a human would. He is timid of the horse but not submissive, and reverential to Onyx.

Dock, a yellow/black Labrador retriever. He's about three years old, and a moose. The dogs three passions in life are food, belly rubs and tennis balls, and he is a lover not a fighter. He will be a hell raiser, but very soon will be dominant dog in the house. He kowtows to Onyx, but not to the other cats. Dock will tolerate all of the animals unless they get in the way of food.

Remington, a yellow/chocolate Labrador retriever, is about 6 or 7 years old. He is one of the smartest dogs you'll ever see, and very neurotic, but is timid of people he does not see on a regular basis. He doesn't realize he could probably be head of the household. Only when he is extremely pissed will he go up against Beau and Dock. The three dogs are all like brothers, they will fight with each other all day long, but when it comes down to it, they will defend each other.

Beau, a quarterhorse, no idea what kind (not a horse person), is like a dog. I treat him like a dog, never tried to ride him. He is inquisitive of the dogs, when I take them for a walk in his pasture. He however will chase the cats and any other animals that stray into his pasture. Not Onyx.

Penny, Princess, Dolly, Pumpkin and Frankie. Nope, I didn't name them. These cats are the hillbillies of the family. Somebody somewhere likes them.

Wow, this could take forever to answer with my zoo. :D

1. Me. Alpha Human
2. Sophie, canine bitch, 4 years - I believe the bitch is always the unspoken and unchallenged Alpha animal in a canine pack
3. DJ, canine dog, 11 yrs - posturing and full Alpha attitude - very benevolent. He's the canine Alpha (after me, of course) - He is physically the weakest of the canines, but if challenged, he will go toe-to-toe and put both legs up on the other dog's shoulders or over the back, or assume the rigid Alpha position and emit the stern Alpha growl. I was suprised the other day to see him take down Willy, the Sargeant at Arms, because Willy is much stronger than DJ. Same as for Dancer. I support and reinforce DJ's Alpha status by only allowing him up on the couch, or to sleep on the bed with me. He is always fed or treated first. DJ has KCS and is pretty much blind in both eyes and can't see a treat held in front of his face, but he knows his way around the house and the yard. He refuses to give up his Alpha status which is why I make a point to reinforce it. And it has worked.
4. Willy, canine dog, 12 years (DJ's full brother), Sargeant at Arms. He barks to keep everyone in their place. But rarely barks at DJ, the Alpha.
5. Dancer, canine dog, 3-1/2 years, Omega/Beta, wants to be Alpha but too young and inexperienced. Won't happen as long as DJ and Willy are alive.
6. Weezie, canine bitch, 4 years, newest pack member (rescue) and she's just happy to be here, but doesn't take any crap if picked on. She's still working out her place in the pack. She adores Dancer and follows him around.
7. Chloe, DSH Calico Cat, 1-1/2 years (rescue) she rules the back half of the house. Nobody there but Chloe and me.
8. The 6 'Keets, also just happy to be hanging out in their cage chattering up a storm. Chloe loves to visit them.
9. Sharley Davidson, hamster, 8 months (rescue). She just hopes to make it through each day as Dancer and Chloe want her for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I had to strap her cage down to the table because Chloe had knocked it to the floor the 2nd night she was here.

Dancer would love to catch Chloe and probably would kill her if he ever caught her. She has taunted him from the safety of the other side of the metal doggie gate to the back of the house.

When DJ sleeps on the bed, Chloe and DJ get along just fine. Of course DJ can't see her, but he can hear and smell her. Chloe will sniff DJ all over, and I often wake up in the moring to find Chloe and DJ sleeping next to each other.
