Alright guys, I wanna see if y'all can help me fill a gap in my knife needs. Yes, needs, haha. Alright here it goes.

My current EDC rotation
-Kershaw Skyline
-Ontario Rat 1
-Kershaw 1 ton
-Kershaw Half ton
- Spyderco Endura 4 FFG
-Vic Tinker
-Kershaw Leek
-SOG Flash ii

These are all pretty basic steels and I'm looking for something no more than $85. And Kershaw blems are welcome!

What I feel I need in a knife is, a recurved blade, liner or frame lock, and I really have the itch for something in S30V.

So what do you think I need? Suggestions are appreciated!

Ill be danged if you didn't hit every freakin thing.... I think that sounds like a good pick.

Anyone else see gaps in my accumulation that need to be filled? Doesn't have to have the attributes that I mentioned.

Well I started with knives just like you in the mid price range, but this year I'm trying to get into some more high end stuff
So I'd recommend geting a zt0200 blem frame keshawguy, it is my first really high quality knife and it fits me perfectly.
For $95 shipped its a steal.

If you do get the blur you'll really start to understand how people can drop so much money on knives...........

Get a ZT0350 Blem from Dave in your price point. Its S30V and a Recurve Blade... Also sounds like you need a Wharnie Style blade in there..Get a Kershaw Needs Work! there are cool snap on ones on Ebay

That would be a good one to!

That sounds like a good rotation to me. You should check out the CRKT Shenanigan. Great design by Ken Onion

You don't have a fixed blade. Look into CRKT Minimalist, or BK11, both are affordable.

You also don't have a Benchmade. I would recommend you try out a Griptilian, specifically a 550HG, one of my favorite blade shapes.

Maybe a Spyderco Pacific Salt, so that you have something that you know won't rust. You could replace your Endura with the Pacific Salt, or maybe even with a zdp-189 Endura.

Man you guys picked out some good ones. I think tonight I'm gonna order a Blur S30V blem from Dave (my first purchase from him), and ill set some funds aside to pick up a Kershaw needs work as I really like that design! I really like Ken Onion so I'm hoping to save a little and get some of his designs from CRKT. Man, y'all are gonna make a high school kid go broke! Not to mentions I have been eyeing the mini grip as posted above. Just been putting off dropping $85!

Oh, and I'm not looking for a fixed blade to EDC. I'm a bigger fixed blade guy than I am folder so don't worry I have plenty! Haha.

lol legend say Dave has a team of elves that take care of his shipping.........my zt was at my mail box in three days.

He's a very nice guy to!

Oh and your right I can feel the money slipping away every time I look on here......but what can ya do? It must be written in the stars that any one under 20 will have money problems.

You've got a Victorinox Tinker, which is a grand knife by all means, but I can't help but notice a resurgence in interest in the more traditional SAKs like The Farmer, Pioneer and of course the Solider. I think if you like the Tinker you'd defiantly enjoy one of the Aluminum, Alox, handled models. Aside from the traditional I might could see the JYDII in D2 composite serving you well. It's not a frame lock, but a pretty reliable liner lock and the composite blade is a very cool and innovative touch.

And he has reindeer who go around the country and put the packages in the mailbox. Despite whether the box says USPS on it :D
