Before sale, after sale, warranty problems?

My Top Thee are:

Cooper Knives (Burbank CA). Long ago gone.

Spyderco

Emerson

Don't want to hear about Dealer who sell many brands, or Horror Stories. Just the good Guys.

I would have to agree, Spyderco and Emerson have given me great customer service.

I have also had Kershaw / KAI do an outstanding job and I would have to include Benchmade in there as well.

Quartermaster Knives. Despite the bad rap they get on here by people who don't own their knives, they have fantastic customer support.

Also, DPx Gear and ESEE Knives have had fantastic customer support for me.

As mentioned, Spyderco, KAI, Benchmade all offer great CS.

Bark River is another company that bends over backward for its customers.

Only company ive been in contact with, or tried to been in contact with, is Spyderco, ive emailed them two times about two different things. Never gotten a reply from them..
Not very good there..

This is probably a thread that belongs in the good bad and ugly feedback forum.

Kai, Becker and AG Russell are a few that come to mind as excellent immediately.

That does suck. I've emailed them twice and received an email back in the same day. Other than that I have no experience with their CS.

Benchmade is EXCELLENT.

Dave Curtiss sets the standard for customer service.

Zero Tolerance/Kai does a great job as does Benchmade.

Of the few I've dealt with,

Victorinox
Spyderco
Chris Reeve Knives

The best, in my opinion, is Victorinox. Only slight degrees seperate the three, no worries buying a knife from either company.

Kershaw sent me a new clip for free no questions asked. Spyderco tried to charge me but sent me a free clip when I asked. Don't really have too many other experiences.

Yeah it does. And im pretty sure i contacted them correctly. It was some time ago though. But it is what it is i guess.. :P

Tobin Smith is a great guy, when we decided what materials to use on my knife etc. I reccomend him very much, he's books are closed now though but still very great CS.

Andre De Villiers, i havent owned a knife yet, just signed up for one, 10-12months wait. But he seems to have very great CS too. Ive been chatting with him over Facebook, and he is very good on keeping contact.

Andre E Thorburn is also great, although its he's wife Maritjie that answers the emails, maybe not all email, but for the most part she does i think.
And they are great, but now before and after bladeshow, they have had alot to do, so the emails is now flowing as fast as before.
My knife should arrive pretty soon, was some problem with DHL, they couldnt send this "Dangerous Weapon" of a knife.. So they have to ship it with another postaloffice.

Kershaw are great with replacement parts - asked for a torsion bar and got bars, clips and sets of screws to last me a lifetime.
