At your wedding....

I know that I can't be the only one to have done this....I actually packed two...a fixed and a folder of sorts...pics to come as I only just got hitched today....can anyone guess what I brought? This was a very non-traditional wedding that took place outside of Lincoln City Oregon in a little place called Drift Creek Falls...its a 1.5 mile trek to a suspension bridge crossing a ravine that over looks a 75' waterfall......very excellent setting to say I do.....

Dude. You are posting on BF on your wedding night?

Hehe, the Honeymoon is in a week, a cabin out in the woods, no electricity, just a fireplace and each other...

It's okay. He loves the forum too.

I would suspect that you brought a traditional Trapper...and a Spyderco Military.
This makes sense to me on several levels.

Oh heck, man. Congratulations!

Buck Stockman 33 years ago on July 11th.

Spyderco/Byrd Tern for my daughter's wedding on July 10th (yes just a few days ago). After the wedding, I handed it to him. Just a spur of the moment gift.

Congratulations!

Buck 110 for me....and I def wasn't on blade forums on my wedding night...well I may have checked a few threads during the reception

I gave a Laguiole folder in curly maple & brass bolsters to my best friend friend from my college years on his wedding day.

10 years down a very bumpy road, he signed the divorce papers. This was quite recently. He asked if he could send the knife back.

I told him to wrap it up in paper, stick it in a cigar tube, and put it in his tool box, and look in on it once a year.

When he could look at that knife and think of his best friend before his lying, cheating wh*re ex-wife, he should start carrying it again.

By the way, congratulations! I'm very happily married, so don't think I'm down on the institution... when you're the right person for someone, and someone is the right person for you, it's wonderful.

Congrats on your Anniversary :)

Congrats on your wedding but I gotta tell you, you priorities are seriously messed up, unless you are about 80 years old...

Be in the bed with her man. Ladies remember this stuff. It may be years from now, but she WILL bring it up. She may even find this thread for some extra guilting. Women are tricky like that. In cahoots with magical man shaming fairies and crap.

At any rate. Congratulations!

If I remember right, which I might not, it was all a bit of a blur, Boker gnome with stag slabs. should have planned a big funny knife thing for the cake, but I'm not that organized, so it was just the nicest one in the church cutlery drawer. If I'd have thought about it, it probably would have been a SOG Pentagon 2 folder, since that's cake knife big! but some opportunities are missed. I will admit to being distracted.

SOG Flash 1 in my tux pocket for the ceremony.

I took a Microtech Mini SOCOM Elite Auto and an Ontario SP-5 on the honeymoon.

I have never been married nor will I ever. But when I got to other peoples weddings its usually a family member that knows me well so I bring the most obnoxious thing I have at the moment. I believe the last wedding I was at I had a benchmade 41 on me and the wedding before that was a Makora II.

13 inch kris Italian stiletto with buffalo horn. Still won't fire properly because it's gunked-up with 4yo wedding cake, but I don't have the heart to clean it!

Edited to add:

Here it is on the day cutting a peanut butter & nutella cheesecake (one of the wedding cakes)
