What knife do you continue to put off buying?

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that has a knife or knives that they always want to buy, but never do. For me, it's a Ritter Grip. Every time I plan on getting a new knife, The Ritter grip (or mini Ritter) is at the top of my list, but it is always bumped out of the way by something that I want more.

My first Knife buying decision (after I learned that there were more than just SAKs out there) was between a Ritter Mini Grip, Kershaw Leek, and Benchmade 557. I went with the Leek because the Composite blade was sweet, and I liked the assisted opening.

Next knife I bought was a 557SBK. I wanted a serrated edge and a Tanto point. But the Ritter was still on my list.

Next I wanted a larger knife. I was about to buy the full size Ritter, but someone pointed out that the D2 Paramilitary was on sale for $99 shipped and I couldn't pass it up.

After that I needed a Nice Survival knife fore hikes in the woods and such. I was looking at the Ritter, and a few fixed blades, but decided to make my own out of an old metal file and a pair of blue jeans. So once again, no Ritter Grip.

Now I have the knife bug again, and even better, the full sized Ritter comes in orange! I've always wanted an orange or yellow handled knife and now I can get the Ritter in either, depending of the size I want. But I can't stop looking at the Benchmade Sequel. I feel like once again, the Ritter grip will be pushed out of the way by something that, for the moment, I want just a little more.

So, who has the same problem?

For me its the spyderco military, I have a sprint run is S90V but I really want a S30V model to get down and dirty with. Its hard for me to buy two of the same knife but the millie is so nice I feel that I need more but like you I keep buying others. I think I will wait for the left handed model though.

Anything above €100 makes me think twice. Then I just go, what the heck, and get what I want.

The problem is that apart from a high end OTF auto, there are no really expensive knives that I want/need. So most of the time I get whatever I want.

I've put off buying Busse knives for years (passed on at least two FBMs).
And the Rukus (don't think I'll ever get one though, I've gotten tired of the politics of Benchmade).
Then you have the Kershaw Tanto Groove, which looks totally awesome, but I keep saying the knife is too small and the money would be better put into a nice Spyderco (like the recently released H-1 Spyderhawk).

Fällkniven F1. Looks like excellent walking-in-the-woods-knife but I always end up buying some huge chopper! :D

Buck 119, but the price is too high here and ordering overseas is insane (for one knife only).

One day, one day...

For some reason Mcustas. I love them... all of them! They are beautiful and not terribly expensive but I just haven't taken the plunge. Can't explain it.

Spyderco Leaf Storm. I haven't been able to handle one
and am a bit worried it will be too small for my liking.

Not really a particular knife, but a type: A good fixed blade, either something from Bark River or even better, one of the knifemakers who advertise here. Folders are more useful to me, so I've been putting one off. Should do something about that next time I see a nice one offered and my budget allows for it.

fallkniven pxl ; im worried about the weight & the stainless bolster getting scratched up.....

At the moment, I'm putting aside an EKA 8 Lite. When I first discovered it, it just seemed like most of what I like in a knife. Wood handle scales, just under 3" of AUS-8 around 57-59rc, torx screw construction, and even some jimping on the spine of the blade. It's even a lock back. The thing is, though, that I'm trying to save money for a trip with the little lady for our anniversary, so no new knives for now.

2 knives in particular... Spyderco Phoenix and a BM Rukus. Many a times I've wanted to pull the trigger on one only to be distracted by something I found on the exchange forum. My only excuse is that they are both regular productions and will be around for a while.

This Brian Tighe...

I'm buying it from a friend, but that will happen in a month or two.

Also a tanto P/E Combat Troodon.
