What knife do you keep in your tackle box?

Picked up a Gerber Multitool last summer on clearance at Cabela's.

Fisherman 600 I think?

It was like $17 bucks. I am not a huge Gerber fan, but for $17 bucks this thing is excellent.

I keep a lightweight but very useful little tool in my tackle box---the Leatherman Micra---along with a large knife for general rustproof utility cutting, the Spyderco Salt1. Both are relatively small, lightweight, and leave plenty of room for bait, lures, and all other fishing paraphernalia. They are complimented by the typical needlenose plyers with red rubber-coated handles.

I found a Kershaw Amphibian on a street corner, I forgot it was in my tackle box until now. Thanks!

I used to keep a Blackjack Panga in there but I gave it to a friend one time when I was drunk. You know, that one time....

But none of them live in my tackle box(es).
That's just trouble waiting to happen.
;)

5th & 6th down?
The clip point is made by Murphy Knives.
IIRC called the "fishing knife"
The one under it is called "The Shark" made by Berg.
Also purchased thru the Murphy Knife Co.
Both good, inexpensive users.

Oh and the fillet knife above the is real "Stagalon" aka plastic from Schrade.
That's an old soldier that has cleaned many fish.

I keep a Rapala and a Kabar 1128 in my tackle box, just like Ebbtide.

In Dec. I bought one of the prototype Buck fillet knives but have yet to be able to use it.

I have a leatherman and a Spyderco salt 1

Welcome to BladeForums!

Meanwhile, back on the thread topic, Like Panch0, I've got an old Rapala that lives there. As little fishing as I do anymore, that's all that's ever gonna be there.

I keep one of the leathermans, and a Rapala filet knife in mine. There is also a Winchester that I found on a fishing trip at my grandmas in it. (Grandma lives on Lake Erie and owns a little bit of beach) Not sure how the knife got there, someone had to of been tresspassing, but I got a new knife none the less.

I have an old Japanese drop point fixed blade that has a wooden handle/sheath that my dad gave me 30 yrs ago. I also have a yellow handled Imperial fishing knife(folder). Then there's the Imperial fillet knife I've had for 20 yrs and the Rapala J. Marttiini fillet knife I picked up for $5.00 recently. Plus I have a Mora swedish army knife. I can cut a lotta bait and fillet a lotta fish with what I have.
Side note, I carve my own fishing lures, too. Started when I was about 13.
