What knife do you use when you're waiting to receive a NEW knife?

A superb question! In the past, I have always gone back to my Emerson CQC-7 as it is kinda beat up already from lots of carrying. It's a great question because I know that if I am carrying a knife and I order a new one that I think will become my EDC, then I usually put whatever I am carrying at the time Back in the drawer, you know to keep any unneccessary use from happening, and go back to the old standby CQC-7. Of course, this situation for me has been mostly put to rest as I am a recent new Sebenza owner! Probably won't be buying anymore for EDC purposes, just more to COLLECT! - Peace

Al Mar SERE Operator is by far my favorite knife, I use it even after I receive my new knife. It's my best one.

my SAK swiss champ my old SAK got killed in a unfortunate accident...so my new one is getting to be my love no matter what comes in, that and I carry a multi tool and single bladed folder always...sometimes add a fixed to my belt too.

I will stick to my Para-Military and BRKT Mikro combo. I may add a REKAT Pikuni.

I'm more concerned about what knife my wife is gonna use on me for asking,"Is my knife here yet?" forty million times a day...

I normally come back to the CS SRK for some reason. Medium size, great steel, perhaps not the greatest handle but serviceable & works fine for all different type of grips... and throws well too!

Honestly I don't have that problem. I am no longer buying knives in search of a perfect knife, I have some great knives, and am just buying more that appeal to me. At the moment every knife I own still holds some appeal for me. My EDC is a large TNT, and the knife I am currently waiting for (sometime next year) is a 3.5" DDR EDC. I plan on carrying and using my TNT until it arrives, and probably rotating after it comes.

My latest knife purchase was a Pat Nihiser folder I got yesterday. I just kept on carrying my old relaible TNT while waiting for it, and even used it to open up the box. I didn't buy it because of a need, or because I was tired of my TNT as I doubt that would ever happen. I just got it because I liked the style, and the price was right. Besides, you can never have enough good knives.
