What knife is this?

Sorry if I’m posting this in the wrong forum. I recently moved into a new house and found this knife in one of the kitchen drawers. (I haven’t been able to contact the previous tenant to return it, FYI.) I’m curious what the brand is, as there is no logo or other marking on the blade or handle. Seems like a unique and decent-quality knife. Thanks in advance!

Edit: realized the photos didn’t post. Here they are:

Call me crazy (and it's okay, my wife calls me that, too) but I'm wondering if the pivot is a clue. Either that or it's a common fitting used by every manufacturer under the sun.

Never ignore the little clues. It's like a cop looking for a certain vehicle who says, "I saw the tread pattern and pan's drip mark--it's a Ford..."

I would guess gas station knife as well.

A google image search yielded nada.
