What Knife is This?

I'm new to knives. Received this as a gift a few years back. Comparing it to pictures online and youtube videos it looks a LOT like a Paramilitary 2, but it has a few differences such as no thumb jimping on the back of the blade, button head torx hardware instead of flat head, and the big one is liner lock instead of back lock. Anybody recognize this? Also, anybody know what size screw I need to get for the clip

I’m sorry to say, but that’s a fake. PM2s never came with a liner lock and that’s what that knife is attempting to emulate. The PM2 has been a compression lock since the original Paramilitary. Likewise, the liner looks really flimsy compared to anything Spyderco has used. You can compare the liner on your knife to that of the Spyderco Military and you’ll see an immediate difference. Because of this, I’m not sure if a standard Spyderco screw will actually fit the clip.

Welcome to the forum. Since you're looking for a replacement screw, I'm guessing you carry and like the knife in the photo? If so...

Save up and try a real Spyderco Paramilitary 2! It will be a night and day difference in quality and performance between the counterfeit and the real thing.

Make sure to get one from and authorized dealer. There are plenty who participate in this forum.
