What knife is this?

I had this knife done with his birthdate(today) and just gave it to him for his 15th birthday.
A couple of questions:
1) what knife is this? Meaner street? It’s been YEARS since I bought this and have forgotten.
2) the handle seems to have some sort of brown dirty tint. Is there a way to rejuvenate it?
3) I want to have a nice lured sheath made for it and possible a leather sheath. Sheath maker recommendations?

1. It is a no-choil Anorexic BOSS Street LE (CABSLE)
2. Try soaking in mineral oil (assuming it's black paper micarta, which I believe it is)
3. I'm not up on leather sheath makers, but surely someone will recommend a few for you.

Happy Birthday to your son 🙂🤙

Clean blade and handle with Dish soap. Let the handles dry throughly. Then hit it with your oils of preference. Garth has suggested WD40 in the past.

Kydex is David Brown or VJT

Leather is Pirtle Made or Duramax

The knife a a Busse CABS LE - Choilless Anorexic Boss Street, Limited Edition , very sweet piece! Rare too!

Lucky 15yo getting such a special piece like that!

Without seeing the brown discoloration on the handle, if it's just some sort of surface dirt, it can be cleaned off with a variety of household cleaners. I'd try soap and water first or maybe rubbing alcohol. The handle is black paper micarta so should be reasonably resistant to common cleaners but I also haven't tested it so do a small test spot first.

Kydex sheath makers - VJT VJT and David Brown David Brown

As for leather, duramax duramax and cpirtle cpirtle both come to mind.

Here's another couple threads of sheath makers :

Hope that helps!

I do kydex work for my own knives and can get a kydex sheath for this knife made no problem. Also, Timothy Lindblom Timothy Lindblom , my brother, does some really nice leather work and could probably get you a leather sheath at the same time... PM me If interested

I think they have you covered

Choiless Boss Street LE

The black paper can look brown but some food grade oil will make it dark.

I can make a kydex sheath or a leather covered kydex Mutant style sheath

I do have a Boss Street LE in house.

Please e-mail me if I can help.

David makes great sheaths.

Here is a close cousin of your knife (Boss Street) with a cpirtle cpirtle sheath, if you like leather.
