I bought this knife at a garage sale a few months back. The ladies son was a soldier in Iraq and she was selling some of the stuff he had. I bought this knife. It feels really solid, and has all the hints of a quality knife. I'm really curious though as to who the maker is. It says it's "Handmade in Mexico" and has an emblem on it. Here are some pictures. Can anyone tell me anything about this knife? I would love to know who the manufacturer is. Thanks!

I'm guessing that one of the cheapo knives they try to sell soldiers over there. My dad brought me a machete with a weird logo like that. It was made in paki though. I've never seen a knife made in mexico before. Usually cheapo comes from China, Taiwan and Pakistan. So it could be nice Mexican knife, but I doubt it. I am by no means an expert at all though, and you should take it to bernard levines.

You may be on to something. I had also purchased this gnarly looking machete type knife at the garage sale that the lady said her son got in Iraq or something. That's close to Pakistan, so who knows?

I'll try Benard. Thanks guys.
