I woulda thunk this topic woulda come up sooner, but I haven't noticed it yet, so...I decided to take matters into my own forepaws here...

Topic says it all...:D

Well I did a little bit of scraping and slashing of a coupla pumpkins with my EKI Commander. Come to think of it I still haven't cleaned it.

My family just got through using these 3: a crkt large mirage, a case trapper slipjoint, and a cold steel norse hawk! Well, they were carving pumpkins and I just kinda hacked the top off of one with the hawk. Great fun! Still haven't cleaned mine either...

I used my SOG Tomcat to cut the top out of the pumpkin. After carving it, didn't like it so I destroyed it by slashing at it and using the butt end to smash it.

The usual (chain saw and stump-grinder)

I used the Spyderco Temperance from the Temperance Passaround going on now.

Great knife!

Got it done last night, finally. Used a few knives, between the wife and I.

The one we fought over was a tiny lil' Arno Bernard neck knife with about a 2.5 inch upswept skinning blade. Was VERY nice for the intricate work.

From there my wife has a real strong preference for the Spyderco Shabaria, while I primarily used a JA Hellberg fixed blade that's at least as old as I am, although I did have great results with my wifes Model 31 Balisong for awhile too.

Happy Halloween y'all!
