Well, as the last hours of my favorite holiday dwindle...I wonder...what knife did you carry to protect yourself from all of the ghosts, goblins, and other things that go bump in the night? As for myself, I had a Spyderco Calypso Jr SE and a Spyderco Mouse.
Good night,
Matt

I have been carrying an Endura II on me from Monday straight thru till today. This knife will never leave my collection as it was the one I had on me on Tuesday afternoon, When my son was born at 1830 :)
I wanted to cut the cord with it, but my wife was pissed when I asked the doctor about it :D

congrats badguy, and i must say i can not believe that anyone would ask that question....

Thanks

I was semi-serious; I mean they could sterilize it of course. And its razor sharp!! Oh well, I should have at least swiped the scissors I used :)

I do recall someone wanting to buy a $$$ custom knife for the job, and hand it to their son/daughter many years later.

Congratulations, TheBadGuy.

I was watching Friday the 13th Marathon and flicking my Benchmade 750 (Pinnacle).

That knife is so appropriately ugly for Halloween that it would scare Jason, Freddy Krueger, and Pinhead all at once...Hell, it's so damn ugly it scared prospective Benchmade customers into NOT buying it (discontinued).

carried my pat crawford perfigo and my kahr P9 9MM......oh, and also my surefire M3 and my inova X5t to keep an eye on my goblin while he was out T or T'ing.

i bet he got 15 lbs of candy, no fooling!! and i grabbed i crappy snickers bar and "daddddddd" like he was low on candy, lol - well i am snacking on it now, he'll never miss it (i hope lol)

Just got home not too long ago from a night out with a friend. Had my EKI commander and BM Big Spender and for light I had my Arc AAA and Brinkmann LX.

I had sort of forgotten the Clowns.

I went from Hollywood in the morning (after staying at the Magic Castle for a couple of days) to Universal City Walk and the bastisds were everywhere. It was like Clown Central.

It probably didn't help that it was Halloween.

The wife and I saw the movie Jackass while at Universal City walk.

It wasn't pretty.

Luckily we left early, before the giant crowds of Clowns arrived.

Check out these evil clowns:

We let our kids strike out on their own last evening, while my wife Debbie, myself, and our 20 y.o. daughter Allison stayed home and watched the new uncut version of The Exorcist.

They both wussed and made me go watch it in the bedroom by myself. I kept my newest Super Commander, a True Satan...uhhh...I mean Satin Serrated by my side to ward off any goblins that might have wanted to demonically possess my bad self.

The 2 youngest came home with about 20 pounds of candy in their pillow cases, which they promptly sold to us for $15. Enterprising little dudes......

I had a SERE 2000 in my pocket (with other more serious hardware close at hand). Fortunately a huge bowl of candy was all I needed :D.

As a guy whose wife is pregnant, thanks for answering that question for me. :D How F'ing cool would that be, to cut the cord with your own knife!? Properly sterilized of course! When I brought it up, my wife said, "Those scissors they use have to be really sharp."
I just gave her that look.
"Okay, I know, I know, your knife is really sharp, but they have to be really sharp."
I took out my Endura and ran my thumb along the blade, checking it. Hmm.
"Okay, okay," she said, "I know your knife is really really sharp, but you can't cut the cord with it, trust me. They WON'T let you do it!"

She actually works in a hospital on the OB unit, so I figured I'd just take her word for it and drop the whole matter. As General Custer always said, you have to pick your battles.

Last night I felt safe while taking my son trick or treating along with the two Commanders. One from Emerson, and the other from Sam Colt.
