OK I am not sure where to post this so if it needs to be moved mods please do so... Thanks

I love my ZT 0550. It is the perfect all around size for me. I am looking for a knife that is the same size as it. I have a $300 limit. I do not like the 0560 because its just to big for me. One other thing I would like it to be a nice flipper. I would like it to be a higher end knife as well. The perfect knife for me would be something along the lines of a XM 18 3.5 inch but I have never touched one and can't bring myself to pay $700+. Thanks for all your help in advance!

They are sold readily for a good price $220 +/-
Good design, good steel, very well made. You'd love it.

I love the pro series junkyard dawg large version. One of the smoothest knives I've ever had. CPM154 cm steel, ikbs ball bearing system, and titanium scales with framelock. If you don't mind paying 400$ for it, the small is 350$ with just a smaller blade. Amazing knife.

I have heard and read great things about Tim Galyean's JYD. Are they hard to find?

The Southard is an amazing knife and highly recommended.

I found mine for $150 and jumped right on it.

One of the most comfortable knives for my hand and flips with such ease.

I actually had mine Re-Profiled down to a 3" Blade and it looks awesome without the upswept tip IMO.

I have a Kershaw Airborne JYD and its the same size as the Galyean JYD Small.

It's another great knife, but I do wish it was a bit larger.

I've started to really love and EDC larger knives and the JYD makes a great Secondary carry for me.

I for one rarely see any of the Galyean JYD's come up for sale, only occasionally.

But def check out the Southard, you won't be disappointed.

Hinderer, southard or bodega..... almost have the funds to get my custom built bodega soon!!! it will be about the same $$ as the new BM gold class thats out, is that not crazy!?!?!?

I carried my 551 for quite a while after it came out. I really like that knife. Got the 561. That is an extremely well built knife But I ve never really carried it. Somewhat bigger than I had a use for. When i got my Southard, I was blown away by the fit and finish. It s a very good carry size. A great blade steel. As noted above, a fine value for ~$220. That would be my choice now out of a good group.
