I already have a KaBar Becker BK9 (which I love) and a Cold Steel SRK, What should be my next fixed blade? Im going to limit myself to $80. Suggestions?? or possibly you want to sell a certain fixed blade? But mainly suggestions. Thanks guys -josh

I know you said $80. but how about an ESEE/Rat Cutlery RC4? Never handled one myself, but this one has been in my crosshairs for awhile.

A smaller knife would be nice - Izula has been mentioned. Becker BK-11 or BK-14 would be great as well. You also might want to consider a wildly overbuilt Buick eater like the BK-2.

Any of the other Beckers. Kabar Potbelly can be had for under $80, generally. That's my favorite knife now. It doesn't get much print, but it's a beast of an outdoor blade. I may buy another one just to tuck away.

I have a Ranger RD4, and unless you have a hand that fits a L to XL glove size, the handle/grips are not that comfortable.

In the case that you do, I'd sell you mine :-)

What's the knife gonna be used for ? Looks like you're looking for a small woods knife? The bk 11 has served me well so far.

Esee Izula or RC4. The 5 is too thick and heavy, doubt anybody would ever abuse one to the extent it's built. Shame they didn't follow the same blueprint, I would love to have an RC5 without the thick blade.

Really? someday I hope to own all the ESSE knives, well and the beckers. So far I think I would appreciate the thickness, but I guess until then we will never know.
