What knife will you take to watch the eclipse?

I'll use this one to make a pinhole viewer. I don't trust those "eclipse watching glasses."

Well, I normally don't roll with coated blades, but for the eclipse I figure I'll go with my blacked out Kershaw Spec Bump. ;)

Just my normal EDC, an Emerson Mini Commander . . . with proper protection, of course. ;)

I will be watching what I can see of it up here in the north east from home so I won't be far from all my knives but the Super Blue Delica is riding with me today.

My plan had been my HK Mini-Axis, all black. Then I realized that if I dropped it, it could be gone forever. Last minute change of plan to the Sage 2 Titanium. Worked great.

(Actually, the Sage just coordinated better with my watch. I'm such a slave to fashion.)

Tough one.... but I carried my regular SAK. It didn't get used during the solar eclipse, but got used shortly before and after.

Whatever you chose, you definitely need a lanyard since you might go blind and loose your knife.

SAK Super Tinker and my Endura just happened to be on me. I had sunglasses made from welding helmet glass over regular sunglasses. Whole neighborhood came and took turns with my ghetto rigged eyewear ;)

Case Peanut was what I had on me. I looked out the window at work and got to see the max (95% in my area) through a cloud that was covering the sun - made for perfect viewing "glasses" before it completely obscured the sun.

Watched it in my back yard. 99.7% totality. Had my Case small stockman in amber bone and my Ritter mini Grip in my pocket.
