What knives are you excited about?

What knives are you excited about? They can be production, custom, semi custom/production. They can be a 50 year old slipjoint you saw in a display case in a junk mall, or a $5K bowie you saw at Blade. Current, discontinued whatever. It just has to be the "knife that you can't live without", that once you saw it, you knew you had to have it.

For me, I've had a few to choose from ;)

Spyderco Starmate, still trying to find one
Case Tony Bose Tribal Spear collaboration with ebony scales, hoping NGK will get one in for me
Scott Gossman UNK, got to finalize the order :eek:
Benchmade 53 (I'm not a flipper, but I really like the design)
Meyerco Kirby Lambert, although I'm not too excited about the steel. Also, is it ever going to be released?
 
Used to be excited about CRK knives...got 2 before I realized that a knife is just a knife.

Now I'm excited about Case slippies. I'm nuts over my peanut and plan on getting more Case in the future.
 
I really would like to have this one by Joe Caswell.

I have a half dozen Spyderco preorders right now so I'm looking forward to all those but my specific list is:

* Spyderco Super Leaf
* Hogue EX01 - Due today in the mail! 3.5" green G-Mascus drop point. If I like it I will grab a tanto too
* Knifeworks Ti/G10 M4 Millie
* Spyderco Dialex Junior
* Spyderco CF Lum
* ZT550 - (on the list :D )

I forgot all about the large Lum, and I've been waiting for a larger Leafstorm!
 
a larger blade from Robert Young Pelton. Seriously considering the Junglas and the Dylan Fletcher Hatchula (it will be one or the other...)

I bought the one I've been yearning for yesterday.It was sitting in a little knife shop in Seaside,Oregon.It was sitting in a not for sale showcase:eek:.It was a custom shop Buck 110.It had a BG42 blade,micarta(or G10)handles,and nickel silver bolsters,with the front bolster engraved in a floral pattern.I broke out in a light sweat and my blood pressure went into the red zone.Did I mention that I don't think I breathed.My wife saw the look on my face and left the store:rolleyes:.Well,I knew that I must buy that knife,cost was not important by that time.I politely asked(when I was able),if the shop owner would be willing to sell for the right price.He hesitated for an instant before replying,no.I said,reeeaaally,surely everything in this shop has a price.He said that for a certain amount he might consider selling it,even though his Uncle would'nt want him to.I knew then and there that baby was mine.When I walked out of the shop with it my wife was waiting in the drivers side of my car.I commented that I could drive just fine,she said I was too excited and did'nt think it wise ,for safety reasons:p.Well anyway,I aquired my grail lockback folder.:thumbup::D:D:cool:
 
I'm seriously exited for my Fiddleback Recluse! Due right around Christmas.

And I'm excited for my preorder ZT550! I really like that they're doing a heavy duty frame lock thats just a knife, no choil, no speedsafe, no flipper, no glass breaker, no recurve, no tanto, no serrations, and no blade coating!

I'm excited about three knives that I should have by this time next week. Two are fixed blades, with one a custom, and the third knife is a folder.
