This question is sort of the opposite to the one I posed about knives that lost their luster over time with continued ownership.
I remember when I got my first Carson knife, an Automatic Model 4! This was a well used knife that I was so excited to get I could hardly contain my excitement and joy when it arrived. I still love that knife after several years of ownership.
After retrieving my Brend Model 2 from the safe in Texas, my passion was ignited yet again when I put this knife in my hand. The lines are wonderful. The grind near perfection. The balance and overall execution are simply a joy to behold in my eyes.
Then there is the Rinaldi TTKK in BG-42, my very first custom knife acquisition. I use this one a lot. It is a real beauty too. I get a good feeling everytime I pick it up.
What knives in your collection have withstood the test of time and bring joy to you years later?
Stay Sharp,
Sid
