Well I guess you know you’re rather obsessed with knives when you have three pre-orders. Mine:

Spyderco Paramilitary 2
Zero Tolerance 0551 Hinderer Collaboration
ESEE DPx HEST
 
On pre-order i am still waiting for my Paramilitary 2. On back order i have a Boker Vox Gnome.
 
Looks like New Graham has a few paramilitary 2's in stock right now. You have to do a search for "paramilitary" with no spaces between the words para and military to find them.

That ESEE folder in on my pre-order list as well.
 
Along with 499 other guys I have a ti/cmp4 millie....trying to be patient.

On the brighter side I found the elusive Kershaw Shallot 110v ce shipped

yesterday...last 1 they had.
 
Hi Flatlander -

I have a ZT 0551, a Spyderco Military in CPM-M4 (should be here any day now...) and the new DPx HEST Folder.

I also have a JK Knatchet on order from Stomper with Maple Burl handles. :thumbup:

**edit** - I forgot - I also have the 2010 Traditional Forum Knife ordered.

I have on pre-order a Ti/G10 Military, and the new Para 2.

I'm not sure why I pre-order anything. I'm not sure that I get it any faster than just ordering when it is released, and you get locked in with a particular vendor at a particular price.

I am looking forward to the Para. I am not the slightest bit interested in the Ti/G10 Military, and will probably unload it after playing with it.
 
I have a large CRK insingo on order and a large LE Sebenza on order. Both left handed.
 
HEST Folder.

I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've pre-ordered anything. And it's certainly will be the most expensive knife I've ever bought.

Thats part of it, and the other part is that I just don't dig my Ti Military.

Some folks are dealing with things like divorce or pancreatic cancer, so I'm not complaining, mind you. If waiting on a new knife is the worst thing that happens to me today, I'm doing pretty good.

I did cancel my Para 2 pre-order from knifecenter, and ordered one from NG just now, who has 'em in stock. I think I'm done with pre-orders. :thumbup:

That's what i ended up doing with my blue manix 2. I'll probably do it again with the para 2

edit: i just canceled with KC and ordered from NG. the bad part is it will probably arrive next week while i'm out of town.

Does anyone know if the ESEE HEST folder will be a limited production piece? And if so how many will be made?


And I hate to break the news to you mqqn, but the CPM-M4 Military won't be any day now as it is delayed with a unknown delivery date. It has been speculated some material is back ordered with no known delivery date pushing the delivery of the knife out who knows how long.

Oh and I have both versions of the Paramilitary on pre-order as well as the ZT 0551 and might add the HEST. Oh and the M4 Military.

At present, I have two 2010 BFC forum knives on order, and today I preordered the HEST folder from ESEE. Pretty stoked bout all three for sure!!! But hey, thanks for asking!
