What Knot do you use to fasten to the spool?

Every time I respool I find myself tying a...creative...knot to say the least. It is not a huge concern of mine, my thought process is that if I let a fish spool me there is no way I would land it on the present gear anyways (Im not gonna let any fish spool me:D) I am just wondering if there is some magical knot out there that everyone has been using to secure their line to their spool...
 
Arbor Knot. Works great. It's saved me a few times when i casted out on the last bit of string with a weighted lure. Hasn't snapped yet.

I have been spooled salmon fishing on a big spring salmon on the Fraser river and the line broke at the leader, could still keep fishing

always try to use leader a few pounds lighter than your main line if you can
