It's beginning to get warm enough around here now to be comfortable to go out in the evenings and give the rabbit population a bit of a shakeup. What I need though is a small spotlight type of light that is suited to mounting on the barrel of a shotgun.

Any suggestions anyone?

Thanks.

I like the Surefires.

Hard to beat and they are durable. Not sure if they will mount on your shotgun or not though.

However, if they can, from my experience you'll like them real well. Bright and durable.

Yeah, Surefire's pretty much the light of choice here. I can't think of a better weapon-mounted light offhand, unless you're dealing with extreme amounts of shock which would destroy the bulb. .

the surefires are great lites, and very bright, i would get a M2 or M3 myself, although the cheaper Z2/G2/etc will work, but ya will have to get a shock isolated bezel for it, about $25 or so, and dont forget to use weapon lite dedicated batteries, or they will fall to pieces on ya, they run about $18 for the 2 cell versions, then ya gotta get a mount for it, lots of $$ for rabbit hunting but what the heck i guess. if ya dont get the iso bezel the bulb will blow out at about $20 a pop, so ya cant start getting cheap lol. and the batts broke on me w/a 5.56, am sure a shotgun will do it faster

i really dont know of any other brands/lights that will work.
