The pommel of the first sword in this video has the face of a tiger cut into it. It was given to me totally darkened. I tried to lighten the eyes a little bit but did a crappy job in my opinion. Anyway, if I lightened them more carefully, do you think it would look better than a totally dark pommel? Or should I darken the whole thing? Also, do you have any suggestions to give the pommel slightly more panache, with it looking garish?

looks like cartoon eyes in the dark, leave it. Or attack with Brasso. Or get a hobby.

lol I'll leave it. I like the cartoony look, and I think it will darken up a bit in time anyway. Thanks for the response.
