Hi everyone, I would like to know what lube you like best for your Hinderers and where can it be purchased. Getting ready to do some cleaning of my knives and looking for some advice. Thanks in advance.

Bill

I've tried a few things but keep going back to CRK grease.
You will need to strip down the XM, clean and apply grease on assembly.

I'm a big fan of tuf-glide. It works great on my xm-24 and all of my other folders. I would highly recommend it.

The Lube I use is not a resale item (I'm sorry about that) It is a great lube, light in viscosity obviously very slippery and great retention properties without being thick.
I liken it to BreakFree "Greased Lightening" or Nano oil in its properties. A little goes a long way.

I'll post a pic.

I'm also a fan of Sentry Solutions Tuf-Glide. I use it on all of my folders and my guns with 100% satisfaction. I'm just not a fan of anything thick.

That about says it all. I switched from Tuff Glide to Nano 10W (I think) and never looked back. A drop on each side of the pivot and that blades will move like buttah!

Don't know if it interacts with CRK's lube, so I haven't used on my Sebbie.

Nano Oil. There is no second choice.

Gentlemen, and I use that term loosely, :-). Thanks for all the great advice, I will be shopping tomorrow. So far I have been using the oil that came with my Bellini, which seem good but want to go with something different. Where would I get the Nano oil?

Thanks again

Hahahaha
Yeah sure
I'll put em through my special "spit spa treatment"
They'll never be the same!
hahhahaha
but seriously
personally I use whatever the knife needs
if within its sweet spot its still a bit sloppy I'll use a viscous grease
if the knife is generally pretty tight I'll use a lighter oil

Hey, ille, your always selling stuff. If you run across a Ti stonewashed (frag or whatever) scale for 3" XM-18, let me know.

Just got this in on Friday and applied it tonight. Daiwa reel oil. It's all the rave on the fishing blogs and I had to wonder if this is the same stuff Rubi got. Perfectly clear, very thin. It might be too slick, I had to really crank down on my pivot screw to keep my blade from opening when I just wrist flip the blade without any thumbstud contact!!! I have a good detent, but the blade is still jumping open with a strong shake!!! Too slick???
