What make a scandi grind a scandi grind

Hi guys

I was just wondering what it take for a grind to be considered a scandi style grind. I have noticed the popularity of this stlye of knife and am thinking of give a scandi grind a try.

There's no secondary bevel.

The main bevel is typically much narrower than we're acustomed to on western style knives, but goes right down to sharp.

When the blade is sharpened, the entire bevel is laid down on the stone.

They're definitely not as "durable" as a thin edge with secondary bevel, but they cut like crazy.
