What model Benchmade is this?...

Just found this on an auction site, any idea what model it is? and if its a good or bad Benchmade...Thanks

its a pika and idk how its quality is, discontinued in 2009 i believe, made in china.

More specifically a G10 Pika
Hard to tell i its a pikaII or pikaI, because they made two versions with different blade lengths.

I bought an all titanium version and I have to say its one of the best value knives I own.
Fantastic quality.
If it wasnt for the cheap steel, its something I probably wouldnt mind spending $80 on.

It looks like a benchmade pika ii. Might be the H&K version.

Dont think so. The HK version has glass-filled nylon handles and obvious HK branding on the blade

I think its actually the Harley Davidson version.

Either that or they're actually FRN handles and its the original pika.



Either way, all versions are basically the same quality.

But I warn you, if you buy one, you're going to want an AFCK

Then it's a Benchmade Pika.
Could be the Benchmade Mini Pika.
It's the Benchmade version though so it's a Pika 1.

yup. that's the original pika with GFN handles, not G10

Not worth a ton there average sell from what i can see for 50$ witch is high but usualyl in the 30's.

FRN stands for Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon.

The blade steel could be one of the following:
9Cr13CoMoV
8Cr13MoV
or 440c

benchmade produced pikas in all of those steels.

I don't know of any "bad" Benchmades. The one that you have pictured is not a very expensive knife but it should be a good one. I like the design and styling and it should be very functional.
