What Model Is It?

I was in a cutlery store the other day and saw a Spydie I've never seen before. It looks to be slightly shorter in OAL than a Delica but has a deeper blade. The handle looks to be aluminium but with arc-like cutouts going from top to bottom.

Didn't have time to pick it up or play with it. Now, I keep seeing it in my mind. What model is it?

Maybe a Navigator with Almite handle(used to be called C99 Experimental, I think)?

Haj,

Thanks, I'll cruise around the net and see if I can find a picture.

Heh, I wouldn't call the Navigator "slightly shorter" than the Calypso Jr. It is MUCH shorter...I'd consider the Calypso Jr. mid-size and the Navigator small size (like the Dragonfly).

Flood,

You right but like I said, I saw it the case but didn't have time to pick it up and handle it. Nevertheless, it left an impression in my mind. So, I went ahead and order two.

One for me and one as a stocking stuffer for someone else.

The Current Navigator is a very elegant piece. A blade length of slightly over 2" (53mm) makes it a perfect airline piece. The very light Almite handle moneyclip fits any size hand. Quality is excellent, but production is small so they might be a little difficult to find.
