Looks like a Victorinox Huntsman, though I don't see a hook on yours. So yours is a Huntsman, or something very similar.

Link.

Link.

This retired Huntsman has no hook.

I carry the similar Explorer Plus, which loses the saw and gains a magnifier and better phillips:

You are welcomed. I love knives that have lived a happy life and have lots of scars.

Hmmm, since you mention it... I've been wondering the same thing.

Mine is the same as the OP's except mine has a Phillips driver instead of the corkscrew. I had thought mine was a Hiker, but the Hiker doesn't have scissors and mine does. I can't remember exactly when I got it, probably late 80's or early 90's. Black scales w/ BSA logo.

It's probably a discontinued model. Any idea what it is?

Oddly as I understand it this was sold as the BSA Huntsman even though it has in fact got the same tools as a Fieldmaster.

This doesn't seem to be the first time the BSA branded SAKs haven't quite matched up with the normal names. What is being sold as a BSA Yeoman is in fact an Explorer. This at least comes from the fact that the BSA really did used to sell a true Yeoman, but then the SAK was discontinued and so the BSA started to sell the Explorer, they just didn't feel the need to bring in the new name.

Thanks, I appreciate the information and the great link.:) I thought there was an "H" in the name.
