What model is this please?

Your knife is a 2008 and was new in the catalog that year. The Platinum lasted 2 years. The 2021 catalog only shows Black.

I'm a bit color blind but your knife looks green to me, is it? Green was not a standard catalog color for this knife. Buck did do special colors for some vendors. I know they did Green on some models for LL Bean.

Yes it is greenish. Maybe it was originally grey! It's been so long since I bought it that I don't remember where I got it. Was thinking of getting a replacement since the rubber is getting kinda old. It's my beater knife ;)

think your right..it does look a bit grayish. I can also see the od color to it, though. was there a run of the od color by a particular dealer?

I think it must be the gray rubber acquiring a green verdigris patina ;)
