Which JK Knives model is your favorite, and why? Pictures are always good, I`m starting to think that nobody actually uses their knives  If you don`t have one, or only have one, what would be your "dream" model? It`s getting a little slow here, let`s get some discussion going!

Bushcrafter, Kephart, Field knife. All have seen good working days and are easy on the hands, eyes, and wallet. Top one is my new favorite.

A couple more of my new fav with some things I found on my latest landscaping job.

I haven't had the pleasure of owning any JK knives before, but I'm really stoked for my Anniversary model. To my mind, it seems like an ideal fixed blade for hiking and general outdoors work.

I'm also partial to the kephart.

All the best,

- Mike

I profiled your Anniversary Knife this morning, plan on heat treating it this weekend.

I"m going to go with my Anniversary knife :) but I am biased as it is my first and only JK so far. Just got it last night and it ROCKS! The feeling in hand is amazing! No action shots yet - but soon!

I only have two right now. I honestly can't pick a favorite,as I usually have both on me. The Hiker comes off my belt only when I am at work. It is a reasonable size for every day carry for me.

Though when I get my other(slightly smaller) JKs the Hiker might end up as a woods knife only, maybe :).

Hmm...couple new pics....you will notice the patina on my mini-nessy. It is harder to tell on the Hiker, but it is starting there too.:D

No forced patinas either,my knives have to earn them.

Hmmm, let me think about this...

These have been carried continually since I recieved them. I traded SWMBO my KOA Cub Bear for the Tin Knife.:D
As for the dream knife, I would like a large, maybe 7 inch blade Nessmuk for camp chores and kitchen duty.

John, I love all my JK knives, but I'm really looking forward to the new one. Feel free to post pics of the design, if you want.

My main computer died so no pictures for now. My son has to get a new hard drive for my old standby. IT IS HARD WITH AS MANY JK's as I have to pick a favorite but the Kephart, Hiker and Hiker Backup are near the top. However, I don't have a EWOK yet, I need one soon.

i will take a picture i promise but right now i am in love with my anniversary knife. its probably up there in my top 3 fav of all my bush knives.

I'm in the same boat as udtjim, I have a bunch and I love every single one. I do have to say my hatchet way out performed my expectations (which were high) so that is definitely one of my most favorite models.

I may also be a little biased about this one since it was my sketch that won John's Anniversary Knife contest..... but damn it, I love the Anniversary Knife!

Those other two blades in the pic are incredible too, but if I keep this up I will just end up saying all of them are my favorite and that kind of defeats the purpose of the thead!

Dang, I like the anniversary knife a lot. If I didn't own one of John's field knives, I would have bought one!
