never seen one without a model number. 4.5" closed

number on the bolster says 020. how many were made?

If it's 4-1/2", then it's a Model #23
If it's 3-3/4", then it's a Model #73
The tape measure makes it look smaller than 4-1/2", so...
 
ya. the angle of the camera makes it look smaller. it's definitely 4.5".

what was gec's official name for these covers? jigged bone?

i looked at all the 23's on gec's site. dont see any with this handle material with spey blade only.

That is a 2007/2008 reptile/gator bone pioneer trapper.
