Hi gentlemen,
I was looking for a very nice DU knife for my dad, a long time member. A friend showed me this one and recommended it. Any information you may have would be helpful.

I'm surely not an expert in any definition of the term, but that knife really looks like it may have been a Blackjack Guide in another life. I don't know if Blackjack knives ever had a contract to do DU knives but it is a possibility.

Paul, I was given the impression that it was a Schrade, which is why I stopped here first. But you guys know your knives, and with a little checking after reading your post, I found that it is in fact a BlackJack. I don't know if it is an 'Effingham' or a 'Bowie Corp' or a 'whatever'. Anyway, I think Dad will be more than pleased with it.
