What model Spyderco?

That's a temperance 2. On another note, I had to unsubscribe from this guy because all he talks about is stabbing people and "TACTICAL ADVANGTAGE!!" type stuff. The same kind of stuff HELLZARMY does.

I think it looks like a nice blade. I looked at it on the spyderco site does his have the wood handle, it's hard to see? Does anybody make G10 handles for it or do the wood handles provide a good grip?

Micarta, not wood.

The handle is bead blasted brown canvas Micarta. It provides an excellent grip, wet or dry.

I am not sure what micarta feels like.

Depends on what the finish is, but usually pretty slick. Imagine slick g10 without texture, but I'm not sure if the temperance 2's scales are slick.

The HELLZARMY guy if I'm not mistaken, works for a kidnap and ransom company. Either in recovery or preventing it. So most of his knife choices and mind set is geared toward self defense.

I really really dig the Temperance 2 awesome knife. But I think it should have larger handle pins. I think it would inspire more confidence in the knife and would just look better.

Most micarta is left smooth, but not this one.

Compared to the smooth micarta on the Dayhiker.

That's interesting. The reason I said that was because I was watching a review of a Benchmade dive knife (with the blunt tip); he was saying how he would be able to easily penetrate skin with it:rolleyes: I suppose that is a whole different story that belongs in a different forum, so I wont say much more than that. :D

It looks like it would feel identical to canvas. That must be an interesting texture for a knife scale, I've never used micarta with that type of finish.

I'm not 100% on that. He dropped a company name one day that he worked for. So I Google it and found out what said company did.

It feels a lot like a firehose, if you've ever used one of those without gloves.
