What model Swamp Rat?

I am looking at a Swamp Rat a guy wants to give in partial trade for a gun. It is new and appears to be a Battle Rat. It has a penetrator tip and black blade and black Res C handle. No markings on the blade. Factory cordura sheath with kydex insert. The blade is just over 9" long and about .25 inches thick. Is this a "Battle Rat"? I do not see any offered on these forums, what is a fair price on this? Thanks.

IMHO, as far as value, if it is new and unused, you're looking at $230-$250. If it is used, I think you are down in the $210 range given the current market.
 
Thanks for the input. I thought it was a BR and now I am sure and I have an idea what to offer towards his purchase of the gun. I like the knife and hope the deal goes through.
 
Does it have a metal guard? the Battle gaurd is similar to the battle rat, but has the guard and was heat treated differently.
