There are actually 6 of these, here are the 4 just finished (before the sun went down). They are for a customer who wanted a specific design that suited the Filipino Martial Arts techniques. This is a modification of one of my older designs. The original one was a full-custom with tapered tang, BG42 steel satin hand rub and interesting "plum" coloured G10.
These are in 440C, cryo-ed, triple tempered to 59RC. The specs - 7inch OAL, 2-3/4inch reverse tanto blade with 1-1/2inch fully sharpened top edge, bead blasted finish. Handles (L-R) black linen, olive canvas, black canvas, black canvas. Traction grooves, indexing holes and all contact surfaces fully "dehorned" - no edges to gouge.
