Hey Multitool and SAK peoples!!,

What multi-function goodies did you all get for Christmas? I got a Leatherman Wingman.

SOG West Marine Sailing multi-tool.
Gerber Bear Grylls Compact Multi-Tool...needed to bump up an Amazon order for free shipping.
Vict. Electrician Plus...going to be sent to a modder for some tweaking.

I'm still waiting for the Leatherman Charge Tti that my wife ordered for me for Christmas...apparently they're on intergalactic backorder...

Sticktodrum got me a standard Wave for Christmas. It will be my user whenever my Charge Tti is out for repair (which it just got back from actually)

Thanks sticky :-)

I didn't get any:( But I did use my Wingman about 100 times cutting toys out of their packages:D
On a side note, I DID just buy myself a late Christmas present at Target. They are offering a SAK Spartan with a totally serrated blade. Seemed kind of cool, and for the price I thought I would try it out. I lost my Spartan a couple of years ago and have always appreciated the slimness of the overall package. The fully serrated blade is kind of novel and I don't generally HATE them.

I find myself doing a lot of cutting of string and twine. I also figure the serrated edge would be good for cutting up my toddler's food at a restaurant that doesn't offer any cutting utensils...but mostly I just kinda wanted one:P

Got a SAK Fieldmaster and a Rebar. Must have been a good boy.

I got a new Vic Alox Pioneer in silver w/ an Amazon GC I got for Christmas. I already have a Vic Alox Pioneer in black which is my favorite SAK, in fact I like it so much I got a plain silver one to be my every day beater Alox Pioneer so I can just break out the black Pioneer when I'm going out and such. Sounds crazy, I know...

A Vic hardwood Spartan and 2 Zermat pouches, medium with steel and large without. And oh yes a new Vic Classic.

Well you could say that the money I got on christmas got me the best deal of my life. old but in near perfect shape leatherman wave for $2.99 goodwill baby!!!!!

My Charge Tti finally showed up...it was definitely worth the wait! Used it today to disassemble a box knife so I could replace the razor in it. Someone had installed an allen head screw in it and I just so happen to have that bit in my Charge.

Steely, you will like the serrated spartan. I bought one like you because I thought it would be kinda different. After stroping the serrated side of the blade on the edge of my strop, it was like a serrated razor! Talk about cutting open boxes and other stuff. It is one of those knives that you have to be carefull with, so you don't get cut. I showed it to a friend who likes knives and he said man that thing is sharp. I have thought about buying a spare if I can find it. Another thing I like is that it is light to carry.
